Units from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responding to the call were advised by dispatchers that further information from the callers indicated that this was a dwelling fire. A full first alarm assignment was then dispatched consisting of units from the Joppa-Magnolia, Fallston, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Companies in Harford County, Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company in Baltimore County, and the Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire Department. The first arriving personnel from JMVFC were faced with a two story wood frame dwelling which was heavily involved in fire.
