Auxiliary Division

“We, the members of the Auxiliary of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, now unite as a body to assist the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company in any manner possible.”

Welcome. We are well into the new year, 2010.  The Auxiliary’s number one goal is to always provide support at emergency scenes for our company as well as mutual aid.  It has been one year since we have put our new mobile unit, U388, in service.  While we are still tweaking our process, we have and will continue to serve our community well.  This unit now responds to all confirmed working fires for our company and neighboring fire companies, as well as supporting local police authorities on extended incidents.

Not everyone in the Auxiliary is required to respond to an emergency incident.  We have members who assist our business office with computer data entry, ambulance club billing, volunteer on various committees, and prepare meals for various Fire and EMS dinner meetings.

We welcome you to our family. Please complete an online application to start your journey or call us at 410-638-4400 or 410-836-JOIN for more information on membership.

Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the earth who reflect this nation’s compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain loving one another.
