Currently the fire department has two stations within its first due territory. One station is located in the Town of Bel Air on Hickory Avenue and the other is located on East Jarrettsville Road in Forest Hill. BEL AIR STATION The Bel Air Station currently houses the following apparatus: Engine Companies - 3* Ladder Companies - 2 ( each unit is a 100 ft. aerial platform) Rescue Companies - 1 Brush Unit - 1 Air Cascade - 1 Ambulance / Medic Units - 3 EMS Support Unit - 1 Along with the equipment, the station has been designed with state of the art training facilities, operations offices, administration offices, and increased bunk room space. The new building was designed to serve the fire company well into the 21st century.
FOREST HILL STATION The Forest Hill Station was designed and built in 1978 and currently houses two engine companies* and a brush unit. The station is strategically located to provide fast, quality emergency services to Forest Hill and surrounding communities. Manned by over twenty personnel, this stations responding personnel continue to grow as the surrounding community grows. * Special Note: It should be noted that one of the engine companies at Bel Air and Forest Hill is equipped as a squad and carries a full set of HRT's and rescue equipment and will run as the next due unit when we receive calls for multiple auto accidents, rescues, etc.
