Hunters Run Terrace 2 Alarm Townhouse Fire

11/16, 830p: BAVFC crews along with crews from Aberdeen, Abingdon, Joppa Magnolia, Aberdeen Proving Ground , Fallston and Kingsville worked this 2 alarm townhouse fire on Hunters Run Terrace. Crews found an end of the group townhouse well involved on arrival with rapid extension to adjoining townhouses. One firefighter suffered a minor injury, was treated on scene, and returned to service. It took approximately 30 minutes to get the bulk of the fire knocked.
The cause is still under investigation by the MSFMO. A total of three homes were damaged, displacing six adults and four children. Two of the homes are considered a total loss and the other with serious damage. Estimates are close to 1.25M in damage.

Crews obtained knock on this 2 alarm townhouse fire on Hunters Run Terrace in approx 30 minutes from dispatch.

The initial handline selection was a 2 1/2 handline taken to side C where it was used to knock down the outside and then to make entry into the Bravo exposures.

Fire runs the roofline as weather conditions make work difficult on this 2 alarm townhouse fire on Hunters Run Terrace.

The first floor of this end of the group unit had already burnt through on fire department arrival.
