The BAVFC Goes Back To School
The 4th graders from Fountain Green ES were recently tasked to write a personal letter a local first responder.
One student named Dominic and his mom took to the internet, found our bavfc website and the member of the month section that was currently featuring Lt. Scott McNutt. Dominic picked Scott and wrote him a very nice letter. Scott was so touched by the letter that he took an engine and some firefighter friends to surprised Dominic at school this past week. Scott also spoke to the whole class on fire safety. Before leaving Scott gave Dominic some gifts, one of which was a VIP tour of the station with he and his family on an upcoming Saturday.
