
BAVFC Places New Engine In-Service
The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to place in service Engine 316.
Engine 316 a 2016 Pierce Enforcer equipped with TAK 4 suspension system and powered by a 500 horsepower Detroit Diesel DD13 Series / Allison Transmission 6 speed power package. It has the capacity of fifteen hundred and fifty gallons of water and one hundred and sixty gallons of class B foam. The
pump and foam system consist of a Hale QMAX 1500 gallon pump and a Husky 12 direct injected foam system. E316 is equipped with four large diameter intakes and three large diameter discharges.
This unit is an addition to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company’s fleet and will be housed at the Forest Hill Station. RG
