Auxiliary Division

“We, the members of the Auxiliary of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, now unite as a body to assist the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company in any manner possible.”
The Auxiliary Division plays an essential role in supporting the mission of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company. Through dedication, teamwork, and service, Auxiliary members provide valuable assistance to operational personnel and help ensure the department can effectively serve the community.
One of the Auxiliary’s primary goals is to provide support at emergency scenes for both the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company and mutual aid departments when needed. This support often includes providing refreshments, logistical assistance, and other resources for firefighters and EMS personnel operating during extended incidents.
However, responding to emergency incidents is not required for all Auxiliary members. The division offers a variety of ways for individuals to contribute their time and talents.
Members may assist the department by:
-
Supporting the business office with administrative tasks such as computer data entry
-
Serving on department committees and assisting with organizational activities
-
Preparing meals for fire and EMS training sessions and meetings
-
Supporting department events and community outreach efforts
The Auxiliary Division provides an opportunity for individuals who want to serve their community and support their local fire company, even if they are not interested in operational firefighting or emergency medical roles.
We proudly welcome new members to our fire company family.
If you are interested in joining the Auxiliary Division, please complete the online membership application to begin the process.
